National Sales Manager – Melbourne Based Role
$120-150k basic + SUPER + Car + Bonus
This market leading manufacture of shoe care products and accessories are growing and looking for an ambitious sales leader to head up the team on a national level.

Our Client is a well-regarded global manufacture of shoe care products that provide quality products to the broad range of customers in the retail space.
The business has been established for over 60 years and take immense pride in their commitment to providing the finest shoe care and unrivalled service levels to their customers.
Baed from the Melbourne head office, this role reports into the global CEO and is an integral part of the growth plans of the company.

The Role:
This role is managing the sales team on a national level. You will tasked with the strategic direction and will have the full responsibility of the sale budget for AUS.
Given the nature of the role and the size of team you will also be expected to get your hands dirty and do a lot of heavy lifting and do plenty selling yourself.
The company has ambitious growth plans so you also be involved the hiring of new reps once you get you feet under the desk.
The role will involved an equal split of hands on selling with your reps with key customers and conducting management duties (KPI/targets, 1 on 1’s, inventory management, stock control etc).
The role has high level of autonomy and importance to the company as you will be the key figurehead driven the growth plans from overseas on the ground in Australia.

An understanding/background in the retail distribution space and passion or interest in shoe’s and sneakers is advantageous but not essential.
